I am an angry punk-rocker with a decent education and a deep dislike of anything that attempts to constrain human freedom to think, imagine, and create. I am an atheist, anarchically disposed and hedonistic with some epicurean leanings. I love music (from Hildegard von Bingen to symphonic black metal and lots of places in between), literature (from Homer to Alastair Reynolds), beer (dark and/or bitter), and science (especially cosmology, forest ecology and evolutionary theory). I strongly dislike religions, fascism, crappy Top 40 pop and pat answers to anything.
